The Section runs four afternoon symposia per year. One of the afternoon meetings incorporates the annual trainee’s poster display. Members of the Section are also entitled to attend meetings of all other Sections of the Society.

The Section Council welcomes suggestions and recommendations of topics and potential speakers for future meetings.

Emil Wilhelm Georg Magnus Kraepelin was a German psychiatrist and thought to be the founder of modern scientific psychiatry, psychopharmacology and psychiatric genetics.
