Sophie has an extensive Inquest and Inquiry practice.
She regularly appears at Inquest to represent Families, Local Authorities, Companies, Care and Nursing Homes, NHS Trusts and Entities, Prisons, Fire and Rescue Services, CQC, Transport Providers and Ambulance Services.
In particular Sophie has acted in many complex Article 2 inquests and also regularly acts as Counsel to the Inquest. She appeared as Counsel to the Inquiry in respect of the Manchester Arena Inquiry. She has also been appointed as one of the Silks to act as Counsel to the UK Covid-19 Inquiry chaired by The Right Honourable Baroness Heather Hallett DBE.
Sophie is also Counsel to the Andrew Malkinson Inquiry and the Jamal Uddin Inquiry and was Counsel to the Anthony Grainger Public Inquiry.
