Odontology

The Section of Odontology delivers four to five meetings each year, bringing together dental professionals, trainees and students to explore developments in dentistry and oral healthcare.

One of the highlights of the Section's programme is the Alan Hilton Presentations, which provide junior members of staff with the opportunity to present their work in a supportive and familiar environment.

The Section currently offers a combination of face-to-face and online meetings, enabling members to participate flexibly while benefiting from a varied educational programme.

Meetings provide an excellent forum for colleagues from all branches of dentistry and related professions to meet, exchange ideas and discuss topics of mutual interest. They also offer a valuable source of high-quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

As members of the Manchester Medical Society, participants are also welcome to attend meetings organised by all other Society Sections.

The Section Council welcomes suggestions and recommendations of topics and potential speakers for future meetings.
