Surgery
The Section runs six meetings per year, usually on the evening of the second Tuesday of the month.
One of the meetings is the annual trainee’s presentation evening which incorporates the display of posters on a surgical topic by students at the University of Manchester. The Kenneth Bloor Memorial Scholarship is awarded most years to a member of the section. The aim of which is to provide a travelling scholarship to assist surgeons in training to travel to other centres. Members of the Section are also entitled to attend meetings of all other Sections of the Society.
Topics and Speakers
The Section Council welcomes suggestions and recommendations of topics and potential speakers for future meetings.
