Talk synopsis:
The 2023 update to the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Endocarditis Guidelines reflects the latest advancements in both diagnostic methods and treatment strategies, particularly concerning the role of microbiology and imaging diagnostic tests and oral therapy.
Learning objectives:
- Patients at risk of Endocarditis and how to suspect it .
- How to diagnose Endocarditis.
- Basic aspect on treatment -when to use iv and when oral can be an option.
