Talk synopsis:
Medical Imaging tests in low and middle income countries are often difficult to access for many patients.
This presentation will briefly highlight the challenges and then share some of the solutions that Worldwide Radiology and our partners are working on to meet these challenges.
Learning objectives:
- To gain knowledge of current challenges in medical imaging services in a number of low recourse settings
- To understand the role of Point of Care ultrasound in Ghana
- To gain knowledge of how post-graduate Radiology training can be supported by remote volunteer education
