Talk synopsis:

Liquid biopsy enables faster turnaround time for genomic results that are increasingly required to aid diagnosis and treatment selection in patients with cancer and identify clinical trial opportunities. This talk will cover steps the NHS have been taking to implement ctDNA testing in routine care, how this is delivered and specifically 

• Impact of introducing testing in lung and breast cancer patients as exemplars, challenges and lessons learned 
• Future direction with new liquid biopsy indications and potential for impact
• Role of the circulating biomarker Network of Excellence in standardising an approach to liquid biopsy implementation
