Ian Young Memorial Lecture - From Incidentaloma to Diagnosis: Imaging of Splenic Lesions
Dr Prince George, Consultant Radiologist, Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS FT
Talk synopsis:
Incidental splenic lesions are increasingly detected on cross‑sectional imaging, the majority of which are benign, yet they often pose management dilemmas. This talk presents a systematic, multimodality imaging approach to differentiating cystic and solid splenic lesions, helping to identify benign entities, recognise significant pathology such as lymphoma, and reduce unnecessary intervention.
