Winners of the Anaesthesia Resident Prize Presentations 2026

This year we saw joint winners at the Section of Anaesthesia's Resident's Prize Evening supported by the North West School of Anaesthesia.  This year the meeting was held at the Education Centre, Royal Bolton Hospital.

The WINNERS were:

Dr Sophie  Stanley - "Promoting or pressurising participation? A discourse analysis of online patient information resources about prehabilitation before cancer treatment"

and

Dr Sophie Rainbow & Miss Annabel Circuit - "Visualising Success:  A multifaceted, collaborative approach to improving lumbar puncture efficacy and success with anaesthesia directed lumbar ultrasound teaching for medical residents".
