Talk synopis:
The North West England (NWE) Imaging Training Academy (NWEITA) undertook a scoping exercise regarding PI reporting by reporting radiographers (RR) across 24 NHS hospitals in NWE to determine current workforce establishment, scope of practice, governance issues and to identify education/training/CPD needs for RRs.
This was a mixed-methods questionnaire study with data collected between 23/06/23-27/09/23. Quantitative/qualitative data were analysed and themed.
100% returned data and there are 92% hospitals in NWE with RRs reporting PI.
Headline results and recommendations will be presented.
