Call for Abstracts – Interesting Case Forum

Section of Imaging – Annual Wigan Meeting

Applications are invited from all postgraduate learners to submit an abstract of an interesting case and the lessons learnt, to present at the Interesting Case Forum, part of the Section of Imaging’s Annual Wigan Meeting.

To be considered for one of the presentation slots, please email a title and a four‑line abstract 
to: subhasis.basu@wwl.nhs.uk with the subject line: MMS imaging section interesting case presentation May 2026. 

Entries welcome from all post grad learners. 

Presentation Details

Presentations will be delivered:

• In person: Thursday 13th May 2026, 6.00 pm
• Venue: Education Centre, Wrightington Hospital, Hall Lane, Appley Bridge, Wigan, WN6 9EP
• Format: PowerPoint
• Duration: Up to 5 minutes, followed by 1 minute of questions
   

Awards & Recognition

Winner: £25 Amazon voucher

All finalists: Certificate of commendation for portfolios

This is an excellent opportunity to present interesting cases from across the North West and to practise presentation skills in a receptive and appreciative audience.
